User data deletion

Last updated: 27 August 2026

You can ask Zorgen Tecnologia LTDA to delete the personal data it holds about you, whether from the website or from a conversation with the WhatsApp support assistant. This page explains how to ask, what gets erased and how long it takes. The Portuguese version of this document is the legally binding one.

How to ask

Whichever is simpler for you:

  • By email: write to privacidade@zorgen.tech with the subject Exclusão dos meus dados — the Portuguese phrase, which is what our team and our filters look for. Write the rest of the message in whichever language you prefer, and tell us the phone number used in the conversation and, if you know it, the name of the company you were dealing with.
  • In the conversation itself: write excluir meus dados in the WhatsApp chat where the assistant replied. Use those exact Portuguese words: the assistants are configured for Portuguese-speaking businesses and that is the phrase they recognise. The request is forwarded to the responsible team.

We may ask for a simple identity confirmation before erasing, so that we do not act on a request made by someone else in your name.

What gets erased

  • the history of messages exchanged with the assistant;
  • your phone number, profile name and any identifiers you provided during the conversation;
  • the internal records linking that contact to you, including contact details sent through the website form.

How long it takes

We confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 15 calendar days, counted from the request or from the identity confirmation, whichever is later. You get a notice when it is done.

What we cannot erase

Some records remain, and it is fair to say so before you ask:

  • Data held by the company you were dealing with. In the assistant, Zorgen is the processor and the client company is the controller. We forward your request to them, but the final decision and the data sitting in their systems are theirs — you can also approach them directly.
  • Copies on your WhatsApp and on Meta's servers. The conversation on your device, and whatever Meta keeps on its own account, are outside our control. To erase the chat from your phone, use the app itself.
  • Records required by law. Access logs and data we must keep to comply with a legal obligation, or to exercise rights in legal proceedings, are retained for the legal period and used for nothing else (LGPD art. 16).
  • Already anonymised data, which can no longer identify you and is therefore no longer personal data.

Other rights

Besides deletion, you can request access, correction, portability or blocking of your data. The details and legal bases are in the Privacy Policy.
